Hi there! I’m a professional photographer by day, aspiring actor by night, and this is my website. I live in Tokoroa, South Waikato New Zealand, have a great dog named Bruce and a Macaw Parrot named Noah, oh yes, and a beautiful wife named Christine, and I like good food and great Coffee. …or something like this: My name is Kevin and I have been self-employed most of my life. I owned and operated Gisborne’s first One Hour Photo-lab back in the 80’s and 90’s. However I have been a professional Photographer most of my career. I started as a One Hour Photo-lab owner/operator, until I realized I loved photographing people more than processing their photos. I co-founded The Photographers (www.thephotographers.co.nz) in Napier with Tony Speakman in 2003. This was set up as a coop where we contracted to other photographers specializing in different areas of photography to work under our brand name. At its height we had three full time and three part time photographers with two office staff. But due to personal circumstances I had to leave in 2006. After a long break from the industry I decided to trade as The Photographers again in 2019, and have been loving the return to my passion. This time located in Tokoroa City, South Waikato, The Photographers employs two people and does all kinds of awesome things for the Waikato Bay of Plenty communities. We specialize in Real Estate and Wedding Photography, and operate a Camera Drone for creative marketing. I’m looking forward to working with you to create some great images
